Head Of Federation - Shihan Brian Burgess 5th Dan

Shihan
Over the years shihan has trained to a high
level in many other fighting and martial arts disciplines
(including boxing, aikido and judo). Extensive knowledge
of first aid and acupressure also form an integral part of
shihans outstanding martial arts knowledge. Shihan integrates
his wealth of martial arts knowledge in all styles and
teaches them under the Hakudu Ryu umbrella.
Shihan has over 30 years martial arts experience under his belt
and has a wealth of knowledge to pass on helping to ensure that
the martial art he knows and loves continues to evolve and
thrive whilst making sure that the traditional side of the art
is not lost.
Shihan has held many lectures and seminars over the years and has been commissioned to train restraint techniques to police officers as well as unarmed combat techniques to army soldiers.

Sensei Perry Morgan - 2nd Dan Sensei Perry specialises in self defence and street techniques using unarmed techniques to disarm and restrain armed assailants. Sensei Perry is trained in the use of live weapons including Kattana, Tanto and Naganata he is also an assisting instructor with the junior students. |

Sensei Nigel Reed - 2nd Dan Sensei Nigel joined the Hakuda Federation from a traditional Karate background. Sensei Nigel's knowledge has benefited the Federation with an improved technical approach to kicking and striking generally. Sensei Nigel is an excellent instructor of senior students particularly newer members he also teaches traditional weapons including Bo, Jo and Tonfa. |

Sensei Nick Hayward - 3rd Dan Sensei Nick is the chief instructor for the Hakuda Ryu Federation and has the responsibility of running the junior section of the federation. Sensei Nick joined the Hakuda Ryu federation after training with a BJJA Club. He has very good traditional technical skills and has developed a sound training structure for the federation’s under 16's. |

Sensei Julie Roper - 2nd Dan Sensei Julie is the first female student in the Hakuda Ryu federation to attain black belt Dan grade status. Sensei Julie is now involved in the construction of a training schedule for an all female section of the Hakuda Ryu Federation. Sensei Julie is also heavily involved with the junior section of the federation including instructing, arranging demonstrations and promoting the club.
