What is Ju-Jitsu, can anyone do it ?
The roots of Ju-Jitsu rest with the samurai warrior and date back to the 6th century. The empty handed grappling techniques used by the Samurai were secondary to their extraordinary weapons skills.
Over the years Ju-Jitsu has evolved and now incorporates many techniques from other martial arts disciplines which gives it the unique role as being the most complete all round martial art and includes kicking, striking, throwing, arm locks, leg locks, strangles, restraints, ground work and weapons training.
Because of the wide range and type of skills available Ju-Jitsu makes a perfect self defence martial art and is suitable for all ages and abilities.
